Currently, my main research project is on minimum income protection in Canada and in the OECD countries, that is on the minimum level of income provided by democratic states to their poorest citizens. The project uses comparative analysis to map variations and explain patterns in these minimum income protections.
This project receives financial support from the FQRSC, in the context of the Action concertée du Fonds de recherche du Québec — Société et culture (FQRSC) sur la pauvreté et l'exclusion sociale.
I also work on other projects, dealing with Canadian federalism, with provincial approaches regarding the gap in living conditions between aboriginal peoples and other Canadian citizens and, more broadly, Quebec and Canadian politics.
